Movenue is built for people to create, discover, and complete workouts with others. These Guidelines apply to profiles, routines, images, posts, comments, events, messages if later added, and all other community activity.
They supplement the Terms of Use. Context, severity, intent, harm, public interest, and local law can affect a moderation decision.
1. Respect people
Do not:
- harass, bully, humiliate, threaten, stalk, blackmail, or dogpile;
- target someone with degrading comments about body, ability, health, age, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or another protected characteristic;
- encourage exclusion, hatred, or violence against a protected group;
- repeatedly contact or reference someone after a clear request to stop;
- coordinate abuse through follows, comments, events, reports, or other tools.
Constructive discussion about a routine is allowed. Personal attacks are not.
2. Protect privacy and consent
Do not share or solicit:
- passwords, tokens, sign-in codes, financial data, or government identifiers;
- a home address, precise real-time location, private workout location, or contact information without permission;
- private medical, health, fitness, or biometric information about another person;
- private communications or images without authority;
- intimate imagery without the subject’s explicit consent;
- identifying information intended to expose, intimidate, or facilitate harm.
Only upload images of people when you have the rights and required consent. Public workout content can be copied by others, so publish carefully.
3. Keep fitness content responsible
Do not:
- present a routine, metric threshold, or sensor reading as guaranteed safe, medically prescribed, or able to diagnose/treat a condition unless lawfully authorized and accurately disclosed;
- encourage someone to ignore symptoms, medical advice, injury, environmental hazards, or equipment instructions;
- promote extreme, dangerous, or reckless challenges without appropriate context and safeguards;
- pressure or shame someone into exercise;
- claim guaranteed weight, body, health, or performance results;
- import/publish a routine you have not reviewed for basic safety and rights.
Movenue cannot determine whether a routine is appropriate for a particular person. See the Health and Safety Notice.
4. No sexual exploitation
Do not post, request, threaten to share, or link to:
- child sexual abuse material or sexualized content involving minors;
- non-consensual intimate imagery;
- sexual exploitation, grooming, trafficking, or coercion;
- explicit sexual content that violates law or the Service’s intended fitness context.
Suspected child sexual exploitation may be reported to relevant authorities as required. Do not download or redistribute unlawful material to report it; use the in-app reporting path and appropriate authorities.
5. No violence or self-harm encouragement
Do not:
- credibly threaten violence;
- praise, instruct, or coordinate violent wrongdoing;
- encourage self-harm, disordered exercise, starvation, or dangerous overtraining;
- target a person in crisis with harmful instructions.
Supportive recovery-oriented discussion may be allowed when it does not provide harmful methods or glorify harm. Movenue is not a crisis or emergency service.
6. No illegal or regulated abuse
Do not use Movenue to:
- buy, sell, distribute, or facilitate illegal drugs, weapons, or unlawful services;
- organize trespass, unsafe access, unlawful gatherings, or violence;
- violate sanctions, export, consumer, professional, medical, or other applicable law;
- impersonate a licensed professional or organization;
- collect or exploit personal data unlawfully.
7. Authenticity and platform integrity
Do not:
- impersonate a person, coach, brand, or Movenue representative;
- create deceptive profiles or engagement;
- spam comments, follows, routines, links, promotions, or reports;
- use bots, scraping, account farms, or automation without written permission;
- evade a block, suspension, age gate, rate limit, or moderation action;
- spread malware, phishing, credential theft, or fraudulent offers;
- submit knowingly false reports.
Commercial content, sponsorship, affiliate links, or promotions must follow applicable disclosure rules, these Guidelines, and any additional Movenue policy shown when the feature is enabled.
8. Intellectual property
Post only content you own or may use. Do not copy a creator’s routine text, images, branding, or other protected material without permission. Functional exercise ideas may not themselves be protected, but original expression, photography, video, and branding can be.

9. Reporting and blocking
Relevant screens can let you report:
- Spam
- Harassment or bullying
- Hate speech
- Sexual content
- Violence
- Privacy concern
- Something else
Provide factual, necessary detail. Do not include passwords, tokens, or unnecessary sensitive information.
Blocking is designed to remove certain relationships and hide members from relevant Movenue discovery/social access. It cannot prevent encounters or copies outside Movenue.
For an immediate threat, contact local emergency services. For an urgent
Movenue safety concern, report in the app and email support@movenue.me.
10. Enforcement
Movenue may:
- reduce visibility;
- remove content;
- disable an interaction or feature;
- warn a member;
- suspend or terminate an account;
- preserve necessary evidence;
- contact relevant authorities where required or reasonably necessary for a credible safety/legal concern.
Severe violations can result in immediate action. Repeated lower-severity violations can also lead to restriction or termination. We may consider context and apply region-specific restrictions.
We do not promise to review every item immediately or detect every violation.
11. Appeals
If you receive a moderation notice and believe it is wrong, email
support@movenue.me with:
- the ticket/action reference;
- the affected username/content;
- a concise explanation;
- any relevant rights/permission evidence.
Do not create another account to evade the action. An eligible appeal will be reviewed by someone who was not solely responsible for the original decision where reasonably practical and required.
12. Changes
We may update these Guidelines as Movenue features and risks change. Material changes will be communicated as required and coordinated with the Terms.
