Movenue supports general fitness—not medical care
Movenue helps you structure and follow workouts. It is not a medical device, health-care provider, emergency service, rehabilitation program, or substitute for advice from a qualified health professional or trainer.
Movenue does not:
- diagnose, prevent, monitor, cure, or treat a disease or injury;
- determine whether an exercise is appropriate for you;
- verify a creator’s qualification;
- supervise your form, equipment, environment, or event;
- guarantee fitness, body, health, or performance results;
- detect an emergency or contact emergency services for you.
Before exercising
Use judgment appropriate to your health, experience, and circumstances:
- choose a routine and intensity suitable for you;
- ask a qualified health professional before beginning/changing exercise when appropriate, including if you have a condition, symptoms, injury, pregnancy, take relevant medication, or have been inactive;
- inspect equipment and follow manufacturer instructions;
- use safe space, clothing, footwear, hydration, lighting, and supervision;
- account for heat, cold, altitude, traffic, water, uneven surfaces, and other environmental risks;
- warm up and plan recovery appropriate to the activity.
During exercise
Stop and seek appropriate help if you experience pain, chest discomfort, faintness, severe or unusual shortness of breath, confusion, loss of coordination, or another concerning symptom.
In an emergency, contact local emergency services. Do not wait for a Movenue reading, alert, notification, participant, or support response.
Apple Watch and metrics
With compatible devices and permission, Movenue Watch can provide available heart-rate, pace, and distance readings during an active iPhone workout.
Readings and derived values can be:
- delayed;
- unavailable;
- incomplete;
- inaccurate;
- affected by device fit, skin contact, motion, terrain, location signal, connection, battery, environment, permissions, and software.
NA means Movenue does not have a usable reading. A displayed number does not
guarantee accuracy.
Maximum, average, current, pace, distance, active time, and total time are fitness information only. Do not use them for diagnosis, treatment, medication, emergency response, or a safety-critical decision.
Metric threshold alerts
A routine can contain optional upper/lower thresholds for available readings during work or recovery. These are creator/user-selected coaching cues. They are not medically established limits or alarms.
An alert can be missing, late, or wrong because:
- the reading is unavailable or delayed;
- permissions or connectivity change;
- the configured condition is inappropriate;
- the device or derived value is inaccurate;
- software or audio is interrupted.
Never continue an activity merely because Movenue did not alert, and never assume an alert identifies a diagnosis or emergency.
Audio, timers, Live Activities, and notifications
Audio cues, timers, Lock Screen/Dynamic Island Live Activities, reminders, and notifications can be unavailable, muted, delayed, interrupted, or inaccurate. Verify important timing independently. Do not use Movenue to time a safety-critical interval, medication, breath-hold, dive, exposure, or similar activity.
Member-created and imported routines
Other members may create public routines. Imported JSON/ZIP content can come from any source. Movenue’s technical processing does not verify safety, copyright, coaching quality, medical appropriateness, or creator credentials.
Review every exercise, set, target, recovery, note, image, and threshold before use. Modify or do not use anything inappropriate.
Social and live events
Movenue does not supervise in-person or remote events, verify every member’s identity, or provide emergency monitoring. Use normal personal-safety precautions. Do not share a private address or precise live location publicly.
